As the concert scene has gone a bit quiet of late (apart from MSG and The Quireboys) I have been thinking back to some of the 'classic' gigs I have been to in the past, many of which I remember very little about.
The one that started it all -
Marillion (Misplaced Childhood tour)
Closely followed by -
Metallica and Anthrax (Master of puppets tour)
Slayer and Nuclear Assault (Reign in blood tour)
Megadeth and Testament (So Far, So Good, So What tour)
Slayer / Megadeth / Testament / Suicidal Tendencies (Clash of the Titans)
Donnington 1987 - Bon Jovi / Dio / Metallica / Anthrax / W.A.S.P. / Cinderella
Donnington 1988 - Iron Maiden / Kiss / David Lee Roth / Megadeth / Guns 'n Roses / Helloween
Unfortunately in the days before digital cameras and You Tube, these gigs are largely lost which is a pity :)
